"december" completes the new cd by weezer, it's got the innocent harmonies that we love, it's got all the markings of a high school boy writing optimistic lines of puppylove to his girl. it would go well with a rotating mirror ball and the sparkle of glued glitter handmade stars

it's nice to sing along to, but it would be better for holding hands

and i know that weezer promised a return to the rock and on many of these cuts they did, but deep down our bespecled bachelor just wants to fill the world with silly love songs - and whats wrong with that?
