there certainly
isnt anything better for a writer than to be read and yesterday i was
read mostly because my good pal matt linked me on his page.
now there
used to be a time when i woulda had no hesitation about writing about
war, where i had no hesitation about writing about anything. but a while
back i said that i wasnt gonna write about the war any more as my way
to promote peace. i said that protesting the war was a form of war,
cuz you're aligning against people and ideas.
so, instead,
most of this month i wrote about dumb stuff like teenage girls and pop
bands and anything other than the battle going on. you'd had thought
that that woulda got me some hits, but it didnt. people dont make links
on their pages saying, "hey check out this skinny blonde girl,
yowza!" but they do respond when i talk about politics and war.
two things i have very little interest or knowledge in.
matt
and ken are experts in this field
and they write about it daily and i am seriously happy that they are
becoming popular because of it. and thanks to all the other people who
linked to me too. rock on.
