first time i ever got drunk was at wrigley field off two dollar old styles
in those days you could get into the bleachers for three bucks
and still have money for a couple of beers and a dog
and you hadnt even spent all of the ten dollars
that your mom gave you for allowance.
if you wore a cubs hat they wouldnt ID you
because the beer guys felt sorry for you.
most of them were sox fans, little known fact.

first place i ever got so drunk i chucked
was in a college town in southern
minnesota because of a bar
where they gave you four chips
for a dollar and each chip
got you a beer.
it was a delightful town
named winona
