nothing in here is true

pretty much everyone but my bro mlah seems to agree that bush is the worst president ever

and since the GOP simply wanted more of the same: unlimited power for the executive branch, soaring gas prices, a halt to habeas corpus, a continuation of waterboarding and torture, a continuation of gitmo, domestic spying, etc., they refused to back the only true conservative, Ron Paul

so they were fucked from the jump.

which left the left with a black dude, a woman, and a cockblocker.

today the cockblocker will tap out. finally. thankfully.

john edwards is a cockblocker because its been obvious for quite a while that 2008 will probably be historic for this country. america the beautiful, the home of the brave and land of the free would finally have a real chance to elect a woman or an african american.

for some reason, john edwards, however, felt that it was in the country's best interest for a southern white lawyer to get in the way of progress and history. edwards a guy who never did anything huge his whole life except run for president. a guy known more for his hair than any serious policy decision that he brought to the table.

during the best democrat debate, the last one, when hillary and barack were squaring off with beautiful slams on one another ("while i was saving the world you were representing Wal*Mart..." "orly? when i was saving the world you were representing slum lords in the south side of chicago!") john edwards proved that he knew nada about debating, politics, or letting others do your dirty work for you.

instead of letting the two front runners throwing mud on themselves the moderator said, "do you have anything to say about all of this, if you dont, thats perfectly ok..." edwards blew it by opening his mouth.

"I want to know on behalf of voters here in South Carolina, this kind of squabbling, how many children is this going to get health care? How many people are going to get an education from this? How many kids are going to be able to go to college because of this?" excuse me, panderer, its called a debate. kids dont get health care due to the blah blah blah that comes from the microphones and applause from debates.

but people do get educations from it, we all learned that edwards doesnt know how to win a debate, we all learned that edwards has no concept that one of people on the stage there stuck her neck out as freakin First Lady to get kids health care, and another person on that stage will probably encourage way more minorities to go to college if he becomes the first black president.

on behalf of the voters there in south carolina, edwards outted himself as the typical cockblocker who has no new ideas and no concept that the universe doesnt revolve around him.

the cockblockers selfishness didnt begin and end by trying to get in the way of barack or hillary, in fact it wasnt even its peak. how on earth can you say you love your wife, if after it becomes obvious that shes struggling with incurable cancer, you still go on for your quest to become president? how can someone Not consider themselves selfish with these sorts of headlines:

Cancer Worsening, Edwards's Wife Says
Elizabeth Edwards Enters Second Cancer Fight
Edwards: Wife's cancer returns, campaign goes on

after the disaster that was bushco this country needs truly new ideas that have to do with the nation and the world, not a person. especially one who cares more about himself than even his betrothed.

meanwhile the symbolism of a type of person can be a huge additional benefit in politics and leadership. the only people who hate BushCo more than americans are the rest of the world, and when we elect either a black man or a woman we are showing the world that yes we've woken up and smelt the coffee and we are with you and we are ready for a new direction which includes peace, intelligence, and true progress for the planet as a whole.

that progress is speeding closer and closer now that the cockblocker has stepped aside. with the distraction gone, it will be fascinating to watch and see who america really wants as their next president, and i must say, im very proud of this country for making edwards quit through their votes.
